THE PROBLEM:
The city needed to close an underground storage tank (UST) that was no longer is use, ensuring that EPD’s UST Closure Guidance Report was properly followed and any contamination was properly delineated and disposed of.

THE SOLUTION:
The client needed sampling activities in and around the UST pit to properly delineate any contaminated soil.

THE RESULT:
We completed all the applicable forms, reports, and closure activities for the UST. Closure activities included analytical sampling and testing, soil removal from underneath the UST, and proper contamination prevention measures.
